We're Jess and Vince, rural contractors and farmers in the Central West of NSW, and parents to three girls. Paddock & Thread started when Jess was on maternity leave with our third, looking for country clothing our kids could play in, live in and pass down. Life on the land isn't gentle and kids don't sit still, so we design for that. Every piece is designed on our farm around the things our kids care about most: the dogs, smoko, and getting as muddy as possible before lunch. Our motto is buy quality and buy once.

Embroidered designs with a bit of country cheek

Our Kids T-Shirts carry designs you won't find in a chain store. TEAM COLLIE and TEAM KELPIE are for the kids who have already picked a side in the great farm dog debate. CURRENTLY FERAL is for the wild ones, and WHAT'S FOR SMOKO? is for anyone who takes morning tea seriously. The dog designs come on Kids Caps as well, with the breed embroidered on the side, so a tee and cap make an easy set.

Sizing, care and delivery

Our tees come in sizes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8, in standard Australian kids' sizing. Our size guide has the length, chest, shoulder and sleeve measurements, and if they're between sizes we suggest going up one. Wash cold and gentle, inside out, and line dry in the shade. We pack orders on the farm and post them with Australia Post, aiming to have them out the door within 2 business days. Shipping is a flat $10.95, or free on orders over $150, and you've got 30 days to return anything unworn with the tags on.
